Alert) Group Inc., a provider of WiMax broadband wireless products, announced today that it’s added the Tranzeo Wireless Technologies’ WiMax subscriber units to the Redline Ecosystem Verification program.
The Redline Ecosystem Verification program verifies connectivity and performance between Redline’s RedMAX and RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMax products and other WiMax devices, according to the company, enabling carriers to accelerate the deployment interoperable networks. The program also includes Redline’s RedCONNEX and RedACCESS families, which are used by carriers around the world to support high-bandwidth voice, video and data services, company officials say.
Several WiMax equipment companies, including base station

, customer premise equipment and chip manufacturers, as well as WiMax peripherals vendors, are now taking part in the REV program, company officials say.

Alert) 3.5GHz WiMax TR-WMX-3.5 outdoor modems in their WiMax networks, they say.
The REV program is designed to augment the testing for WiMax Forum Certification, verifying that carriers can achieve connectivity between both the Redline infrastructure and Tranzeo devices in their network.
The Tranzeo products have achieved Silver status in the REV program, which is designed to accelerate the deployment of interoperable WiMax networks around the globe.
