Alternet Systems Unveils Wireless Prepayment Expansion in Latin America

Alternet Systems said its CEO Henryk Dabrowski was recently interviewed
by Business News Americas on the company's plans to implement its
wireless e-ticket solutions in Central America, the Caribbean, and the
Andean region.
The company said its first initiative is the focus on the mass
transportation markets in Latin America. In the interview, Dabrowski
expanded on the specific opportunities in the Latin American markets,
stating, "Latin America represents an attractive market due to its
young and rapidly growing population, expanding economies, and existing
prepaid solutions for services such as mobile phone use."
Alternet also said management will conduct a public Webcast scheduled
for Tuesday, August 19, at 4:30 pm EDT to review the Company's
year-to-date financials, wireless E-Ticket technology, strategic
partnerships, regional expansion and 2009 $24 million revenue forecast.
