Dilithium Introduces ViVAS Flash
(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Dilithium, a company involved in multimedia delivery over mobile and
broadband networks, announced ViVAS Flash to empower carriers to
deliver two-way video calling services between web browsers and 3G
mobile devices.
With ViVAS Flash, the company noted, carriers can deploy value-added
video services across converged networks to satisfy growing consumer
demand for communications experiences on any device over any network,
according to company officials.
The company said that a number of companies have already implemented
Dilithium's ViVAS Flash solution to offer services including
Bi-directional web browser to 3G mobile video calls, web-based video
services, including conferencing and surveillance, and game changing
new features on social networks such as 'call me now' or video chat.
"As 3G mobile customers demand more sophisticated communication
applications, operators and service providers must innovate in order to
attract new subscribers, reduce churn and drive greater revenue," said
Paul Zuber, CEO of Dilithium Networks. "Dilithium's ViVAS Flash will
help them meet this pent-up demand, delivering unique, high quality
video services to whatever Internet-connected device the consumer
prefers."
ViVAS Flash is the latest addition to the Dilithium ViVAS platform.
ViVAS is a 3G video and IMS-ready hardware and software solution that
provides streaming of video content to and from mobile wireless
devices, broadband, and SIP clients.
